Beaten Path Opinion I think predicting the future is
possible A
Layman’s Understanding of Time and Space STATEMENT: Time does not exist in a physical
sense but space does, time is just a tool we use to measure our travel
through the reality of space. THEREFORE: time is the space that fills the
distance from point A to point B. Time
is the space between where you are and where you will be. SO: is past time the space between
where you are and where you were? If
not, then time is spent the instant you fill the space, allowing only present
and future time to be experienced. As
you fill the space you eliminate the time, as one is as the other, and that
time is gone forever because as you vacate the space - future time fills that
space and past time no longer exist. WHEN you lift the coffee cup from the
table and move it to your mouth you move through the space between the table
and your mouth spending time to move through that space. Although there are millions and
millions of things occupying different space at the same exact time no two
objects can occupy or move through the same space at the same time. So, even if you could travel back
through time, you could only occupy the space you occupied at the exact time
traveling forward which means you would have to travel the exact same amount
of time occupying the exact same space experiencing the exact same life as
when you moved forward to then reach a point in the past. To travel back in time 20 years
would take 20 years and the whole world would have to go back with you
occupying the same space at the same time as before. Therefore, only without physical
form taking up space/time could you time travel. If you did not spend “time”
getting to point “B” you would have to be capable of being in 2 places at
exactly the same time and the present form would be physical taking up
space/time and the “time traveler” would be you traveling mentally into the
future or the past as an observer or a “seer”. So… you can’t travel through time,
you can only travel through space and historic space does not exist because
it was filled with future time so you can only visit the past as you do,
mentally while your physical form stays in the present. SCIENTIST with their powerful
instruments claim they can see the remnants of the beginning of the Universe
that took place 14 billion years ago and say they are observing the past and they
are, however, they could not visit the past because the past does not exist. The future, on the other hand,
does exist and it exists as unused committed time/space. By committed I mean for example:
It is predicted that in 2036 an asteroid named Apophis will hit the Earth. That means that the space being occupied by
Earth on April 13, 2036 is also predicted to be filled by an asteroid. The time/space is committed. PREDICTING THE FUTURE: Each of us on our own can and do
predict the future. We predict the Sun will rise
tomorrow and it will light our world, there will be weather of sorts
depending where you are, the Sun will set and once again we will be in
darkness. From the history of our own lives
we know that our world will experience changes from nature being dormant to
springing into life. We can predict many things because
our life is nothing more than a series of cycles nested within other cycles
and by knowing those cycles you can predict certain things “generally” that
will take place in the future with relative accuracy. However, to know the future is
another story, but yet I believe possible. ALTERING THE FUTURE: The scientists have studied the
orbiting cycles of the Earth and the orbiting cycles of Apophis and
can predict that in the future at a given date and time there is a chance
that Earth and Apophis will try to fill the same space/time. Because
they can predict this future event there is now the opportunity of altering
Apophis’s cycle and changing the future. I BELIEVE UNDERSTANDING THE CYCLES
