How
did I get to be so stupid?

January
27, 2011 Dear
Friend, How did I get to be so stupid? Whenever I present my ideas to a liberal progressive
they treat me as though I just don’t “get-it”. They won’t give anything I say
any credibility at all even if I present substantiating support. It’s as if
that substantiating support is wrong too.
In other words they are so sure they are correct in
their thinking that any debate regarding issues is impossible because I’m
stupid, my supporting evidence is stupid and anyone who doesn’t see the world
as they do is stupid – period, no discussion. In fact it soon deteriorates
into a contest of one raised voice trying to drown out the other. Now I know I have great reading comprehension skills,
I have a higher than average IQ, I have a good grasp on the English language
and I have better than average critical thinking skills so how did I get to
be so stupid? Maybe I’m stupid because even though I have some
college credits I did not spend at least two years having my mind bent. Or maybe it’s because I spent four years on
active duty in the military assigned to an Army unit that collected and
analyzed intelligence that required I have a Top-Secret-Crypto Security Clearance.
Or maybe it’s because I actually lived in a foreign country for over three
years and raised a family while there. Or maybe it’s because I successfully retired
at age 41 after building two businesses and helping to develop another
multi-million dollar project. Or maybe it’s because I’m self educated and
goal oriented, I don’t know. But I do know this, and that is, that in most cases
where I’m trying to communicate with a liberal progressive, that liberal
progressive has spent at least two years being brainwashed in someplace of
higher learning. And regarding that point, I do know there are a
couple relevant facts and those facts are; most of those who are associated with
places of higher education (staff & teachers) are liberal progressive communitarians
and adding to that we know that for decades there has been a concerted effort
by our educational system to “dumb down” students regarding the “America way”
of thinking. So what’s the “American way” of thinking? Well the “American way” of thinking is: Believing in
the American Experiment that man can rule himself and that the United States
Constitution, as originally written including the amendments, provides the
framework for that to be reality; in having respect for our flag and honoring
it as a symbol of our freedom and those who died protecting that freedom; in standing,
removing your hat and placing your hand over your heart during the playing of
our National Anthem, as a sign of respect and allegiance to our country, the
United States of America; in believing in what you are saying when you recite
the Pledge of Allegiance and knowing the difference between a Republic and a Democracy;
in believing in uniculturalism
which is one flag, one language, one culture, one country, therefore, America
first and in knowing that man’s rights are bestowed on him by God not by
other men. Now I see I’m not stupid, I just believe in America.
And the only counter to that is to argue against America which makes that
argument anti-American. So the best thing for the liberal, progressive
communitarian to do is just try and make me “feel” stupid or shout me down because
I believe in America and the “American way” of thinking. So if a liberal, progressive communitarian has tried
to make you feel stupid, don’t. © Bill Wink

Agenda 21 is not the “Bill of Rights”.
It is not “The Declaration of Independence”. And it is not the “U.S. Constitution”. It has never been decided on by the
American people that “Agenda 21” should be our new bible. Our guiding light into the 21st
century. It is being pushed on us by a
bunch of self righteous elitist like Nancy Pelosi. It empowers those who agree and indoctrinates
those who do not, and you are going to think you are having a bad dream when
it comes into your home. |
Casper Wink, married
to Gertrude Kemp, was also one of the early settlers. They reared six children;
Catherine, the eldest daughter, born in 1728, and Theobald, the eldest son, in
1733. The latter was the father of sons named Philip, John, Peter, Jacob (a
Revolutionary soldier) and Dewalt. His daughters married Isaac Roberts, Jacob
Levan, John Heidenreich (father of Judge Wm. S. Heidenreich), John Hausman and
Daniel Kemp. A brother of Theobald Wink, John Peter, born in 1745, went to the
Revolutionary War and never returned. Dewalt Wink, son of Theobald, born in
1776, was married to a daughter of George A. Fister, also a Revolutionary
soldier, and who was the grandfather of Colonel Thomas A. Fister. He was the
father of eleven sons and two daughters, among the former being John G. Wink,
of Kutztown. Casper Wink was a Catholic and a faithful colonist, having his
allegiance certified, which reads as follows:
"I hereby certify that Casper Wink, of Berks County, State of
Pennsylvania, hath voluntarily taken and subscribed the oath of allegiance and
Fidelity, as directed by an Act of General Assembly
of Pennsylvania, passed on the 13th day of June A.D. 1777.
"Witness my hand and seal, the 26th day of May, A.D. 1778.
Peter Trexler, Esq."
