HOPEFULLY I CAN HELP CONNECT THE DOTS

Dear Friend,

First let me wish you a very Merry Christmas! And special wishes for a Happy and Prosperous New Year.

I wrote this to help some who may be struggling to understand what is going on in our Country and as a further point about Transition Lake County.

Now, forget politics please, and then realize it is far more personal than just politics. The real issue being decided today, while you are being misdirected, is about:

Your Individual Rights

“It must be realized that there are only two fundamental political philosophies: those who are for freedom and individual rights and those who are against them. The types of political systems who are against freedom and individual rights are numerous, for there are many ways to violate the rights of man, but there is only one political-economic philosophy which upholds that the rights of man are absolute and immutable -- capitalism.”

Individual (personal) freedom and liberty have been under attack in this country for decades.

The attackers are, of course, the socialist and the communist who both want to remove individual freedom and liberty because they believe what is good for the group (collective) is superior to the individual (person).

However, that is not what our Founders believed. Our Founders had just left that type of society behind where they did not have freedom of religion, freedom of speech, the right to own property, the right to bear arms, the right to say no to the government about housing soldiers in their own homes. So when the Constitution was framed (designed) it was done based on protecting the rights of the individual (person) from government.

The Founders believed that every person is born free, just as all of God’s creature are, therefore, that freedom is endowed (given) to them by their Creator (God) and no government has the right to remove any of those rights, specifically those found in the Bill of Rights, (the first ten amendments to the constitution).

The Godless communist and socialist on the other hand, believe that government gives you rights, therefore, what the government gives, it can take away and it does it on the premise (belief) that you, the individual person, should sacrifice your rights for the good of the ‘all’ (collective).

Who decides what the ‘all’ is? Government does.

The socialist in this country have many different names but they all strive to reach the same goal, to make the rights of the collective (all) superior to the rights of the individual (person) and to have those group (collective) rights given and taken away by the government. And to eventually make the Constitution and the Bill of Rights insignificant and useless.

Unfortunately for America, they are winning.

How those who don’t believe your rights come from God are winning

“That all men are by nature equally free and independent, and have certain inherent rights, of which, when they enter into a state of society, they cannot, by any compact, deprive or divest their posterity; namely, the enjoyment of life and liberty, with the means of acquiring and possessing property, and pursuing and obtaining happiness and safety.” John Locke, seventeenth-century English philosopher

One example of how they work is to look at a very encompassing (takes in a lot of area) movement, that movement is ‘environmentalism’.

The socialist have used ‘environmentalism’ to attack individual property rights relentlessly for decades and have been very successful. After all, who can stand up and protest against protecting the planet? The end result has been, plants and animals have more rights than humans and that goes against our basic American premise, as stated in the Declaration of Independence, of the right to “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness”.

However, environmentalism has trumped (over ridden) private property rights and the right to “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness”.

Score another one for socialism.

Next is politically correct speech. There is nothing in the Bill of Rights about politically correct speech, however, the socialist have been very successful in incorporating that philosophy into American culture and "bingo", you no longer have freedom of speech, instead, you have controlled speech.

But it goes farther, just as with environmentalism there is the entire politically correct movement that has tied the hands of law enforcement and attacked your guaranteed right of freedom of religion and freedom of expression.

For example: Your grandchild can not wear a religious symbol to school like a cross, but he can wear a shirt with a swastika on it, or you can’t have a Crèche on public property but a Muslim symbol can be displayed, or your child can’t wear a t-shirt to school with an American flag on it because it might offend someone. These un-constitutional actions taken by government have removed your individual rights and nothing is done.

And I’m sure, without much effort, you can come up with many more examples where your personal rights, that are protected by the Constitution, have been violated.

When you understand the ultimate reason for war is to reshape society you understand why we are constantly at war

The Fabian Society has been attacking your individual rights since the early nineteen hundreds. You can see from the above quote how they view things. Their approach is – gradualism. To gradually remove your rights often defined by the story of the frog and the boiling water.

That story goes like this: If you throw the frog (us) into boiling water (remove our rights all at once) the frog will jump out (we would rebel). But if you put the frog in cold water and then gradually raise the temperature by the time the frog realizes he is going to boil it is too late to jump out.

War creates a situation where many are willing to give up their individual rights for what they perceive as security.

One example is the DUI check point and the “war on drunk drivers”.

The 4^th amendment protects you from illegal searches and seizure which means that law enforcement must have probable cause to stop you. Stopping you at a DUI check point does not provide the parameters (meet the requirements) to over ride your 4^th amendment protections, yet because society has been convinced it is for their best safety to perform DUI checks they allow government to ignore the US Constitution thereby laying the ground work and providing precedent for more abuses of our rights.

Now with the “War on Terrorism” we have the Homeland Security Department authorizing the TSA to perform illegal searches on persons who are suspected of doing NOTHING, thereby violating their 4^th amendment protections, all in the name of security.

Stealth Attacks from inside and out

So at the same time that some socialist have been attacking individual rights by marginalizing (making insignificant) the Constitution others have been attacking the sovereignty (supreme authority within a territory) of the United States tearing at the fabric of our Nation to move us toward one world governance.

This tearing down of our borders is being done through treaties and “the Border War”.

Treaties do not have to be constitutional but they allow foreign governments access, or rule over/of, American citizens or their property which weakens national sovereignty.

The allowing of illegal aliens complete access to America without assimilation into American society and culture leads to multiculturalism which means the alien is still loyal to his/her native culture and is not truly an American. Therefore, in a time of crisis, protecting the sovereignty of the country may be in a weakened state.

Now to “Transition Lake County”

Adopted by more than 178 governments at the UN Conference on Environment and Development in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 1992 was a plan that would lay the ground work for world governance. That plan was titled Agenda 21 meaning; the agenda for the 21^st Century.

It is over 300 pages consisting of 40 chapters and the commission developed to implement and oversee it is the Commission on Sustainable Development (CSD).

President George H W Bush swore our allegiance to the United Nations in 1991.

In 1992 Nancy Pelosi attended the UN Conference and brought Agenda 21 back with her and introduced it to the United States Congress.

In 1993 Nancy Pelosi shepherded the acceptance of Agenda 21 through the Congress.

In 1993 President Bill Clinton formed the President’s Commission on Sustainable Development and by executive order directed all federal government agencies to adopt and institute the policies of Sustainable Development or Agenda 21.

That meant that United Nations policy, an institution that is filled with America haters, was now being used as soft law within the sovereign borders of the United States of America.

Agenda 21 is responsible for having set up soviet style councils in America like Fire Safe Councils and the Upper Putah Creek Stewardship Council. Councils that are outside the control of the voters and who answer to an apex council.

Agenda 21 is responsible for huge land conservancy projects that were once public lands but are now restricted or only have limited access such as the Blue Ridge Berryessa Natural Area (BRBNA).

Agenda 21 came to Middletown under different names at various times, such as: the Sirolli Institute that set up Konocti Facilitation and was involved in the Middletown Area Business Alliance. Then again as the Voice of Middletown being shepherded by the Agenda 21 group the Forestville Planning Association and now they are back again as Transition Lake County.

The purpose of every one of these groups is to gather “like minded” citizens together and based on collectivism to change laws and ordnances to reflect collective rights rather than individual rights.

And beyond the Transition Network is the International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI).

The ICLEI is very active all around Lake County having as it members, Napa County, Napa, American Canyon, Yountville, St. Helena, Calistoga, Sonoma County and many, many more.

The following quote is from the ICLEI website:

“Through its international campaigns and programs, ICLEI works with local governments to generate political awareness of key issues; establish plans of action toward defined, concrete, measurable targets; work toward meeting these targets through the implementation of projects; and evaluate local and cumulative progress toward sustainable development.”

The Battle Lines

The real battle in this Country is not Republican vs Democrat or Liberal vs Conservative it is about Individualism vs Collectivism a battle between capitalism and socialism.

The Transition Network is obviously a socialist organization out of the United Kingdom, therefore, Transition Lake County is socialism and its goal is collective rule and that my friend is anti-American.
