SMOKING CAUSES DEATH OF FREEDOM IN CALIFORNIA! November 16, 2006 According
to the San Mateo Daily Journal, the city of Belmont will become the center of
the movement to save mankind by outlawing smoking when their recommended
opinion becomes law. This
from the Journal: “The
Belmont City Council voted unanimously last night to pursue a strict law that
will prohibit smoking anywhere in the city…Smoking on the street, in a park
and even in one’s car will become illegal…” Californians,
what part of freedom don’t you understand? Why
are you running away from freedom and toward tyranny as fast as you can? Do you really believe you are going to save
the world and live forever? Some
apparently do. “We
have a tremendous opportunity here. We need to pass as stringent a law as we
can, I would like to make it illegal,” said Councilman Dave Warden. “What if
every city did this, image how many lives would be saved? If we can do one
little thing here at this level it will matter.” If
you subscribe to this theory, since you are so smart, answer me this: How do you know “smoking causes cancer”? Now
pay attention please, the key word here is “causes”, not, “is linked to”, not, “is statistically shown to” but “specifically causes cancer”, because
the panic word is “causes”. The
reason this is so important is because you have curbed millions of people’s
freedom of choice and selectively taxed others based on that statement: “smoking causes cancer” and you are
wrong and science agrees with me. (Let
me say first: I think smoking is unhealthy.) However,
for a scientist to say definitively something causes something else they must
have a controlled experiment where the tests performed are identical or else
it is only hypothetical and in the case of saying John dies of cancer because
he smoked, to be scientifically proven that he did, John would have to live
two identical lives. One where he
didn’t smoke and one where the only variance was, he smoked, then if John
dies of cancer in the life where he smoked and didn’t die of cancer in the
life where he didn’t smoke, you could state: John died of cancer because he
smoked. Other wise, it is
hypothetical. You can’t really know
John got cancer because he smoked or if it was hereditary because his father,
grandfather and brother all died of cancer too or because of some other
environmental exposure. Ask
yourself this: If smoking causes cancer, why doesn’t everyone who ever
smoked have cancer? Maybe
this is the reason why not, read this from the Cancer
Help UK website: “There are about 200 different types of
cancer affecting all the different body tissues. What affects one body
tissue may not affect another. For example, tobacco smoke that you
breathe in may help to cause
lung cancer. Over exposing your skin to the sun could give you a melanoma on your leg.” Also
this: “The truth is that the second most prevalent disease of aging -- cancer
-- is largely linked to genetics...” Past Lt. Governor of New York, Dr. Betsy McCaughey Folks, you have
to change your thinking! You
must quit being so emotional! You have
to start recognizing the demons that are being created to control our
freedoms and you must come to grip with the fact that you are not getting out
of this alive. No matter what you do
to my freedoms trying to save yourself, eventually you will still die; we
will all just be less free when you do. Smoking
is a tool being used against you just like the PC (politically correct)
movement was. Smoking has been turned
into the demon, the demon necessary to scare you into turning on your
neighbor and to giving up freedoms. Most
of you would probably agree you believe an important factor of freedom in
America is about choice, yet through the use of demons whipped up by the
“change agents” you hastily give up choices in favor of a false sense of
security. Look
at what the demon smoking has caused you to accept, and still you say you are
free. Rather
than a business owner having the freedom to choose a smoking or non-smoking
establishment, you took away the choice.
Economics would have probably influenced the business owner’s choice,
but you took that choice away because you were only concerned about your
freedom, your freedom to live in fear. Oh
yes, fear. Fear of smokers, fear of
global warming, fear of war, fear of your little world being upset. You are so afraid
of dying you can’t be free. Freedom
means freedom for all of us, not just you.
But I’m not sure you have the guts to be free, I think you are too
afraid of the demons that have been created and that now have you trapped in
a world that fears freedom. I
don’t know whether to feel sorry for you or sorry for me. ©
