Prophecy points to great change by December 21, 2012. It is predicted that by that date, the world
will end as we know it today. Could that
prophecy and date mean the shift to world governance? Or could that date mean something else?

An open letter to
Congressman Mike Thompson (D) California

August 12, 2009 Dear Congressman
Thompson, I
appreciate your service and your commitment to healthcare and I’m sure your
involvement over the years has been beneficial to many citizens. And I am sure too, your knowledge and
experience regarding this issue of healthcare far exceeds any knowledge I may
possess, so I will respond with what I do know. We
are not politically aligned, of that there is no doubt. However, just because I am a registered
Republican does not mean I completely agree with that philosophy either. I have a family member who is gay and I am
offended by the religious right’s views and positions regarding
homosexuality. But even though that is
the fact, our gay family member is a Republican too, because we all believe
in individual freedom and that is not what socialism offers. As
you know I served my Country for four years from November 1965 through
October 1969 and for that service I have never asked for anything in return
from my Country except for my country to do as I did and that is: To protect
and defend the Constitution of the United States from all enemies both
foreign and domestic. My
ancestor, Casper Wink arrived here from Germany about 1720. He and his sons and their sons fought in
the Revolutionary War to help secure freedom for all of us. They believed in our Founders, the
Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights and one
of the youngest made the ultimate sacrifice.
And further, other Winks have served throughout history, including the
Civil War, to keep secure our freedom. Now,
today, you and your President want me to abandon my roots that are founded in
freedom, abandon my principals that are based on the very documents my family
died for, and for what? So now that
I’m getting old someone else can decide if I should get a hip replacement or
have chemotherapy? That would be
asking me to give up my Constitutional rights. That would be to dishonor my family who
gave me this freedom, and that Congressman I will never do and too, that is
exactly why we are not politically aligned.
I would never ask you to give up your freedom after myself and my family
did everything we could to secure that freedom for you and your family. Why
do you believe freedom is better served by passing a law that will curb and
impugn the very freedoms every American now has? In
your letter, for those of us who think socialism is a betrayal of our
founders, you referenced VA medical care and Medicare as being social
programs that some protesting HR 3200 are currently taking advantage of. First of all, I disagree that the VA is a
socialist program, I believe it to be America’s cost of securing
freedom. As for Medicare, I agree it
is a socialist program but since folks did not have a choice regarding
whether their money would pay for the program why wouldn’t they want
something in return? However, that
doesn’t mean they would have voted for or agreed with the program initially. But
to better clarify my personal position, I do not now nor have I ever received
any medical care paid for by Medicare or the VA. I pay $1,327.60/month for Sylvia’s and my
health insurance and it is a $5,000 annual deductible policy that does not
cover dental and I have never complained to you or any other legislator about
being unhappy with my insurance. But I
will be very unhappy with HR 3200 or anything like it. I could, however, support a government
health plan that covered those folks who have conditions regular health
insurance rejects, like pre-existing conditions. Am
I happy about paying $15,936 annually for health insurance, absolutely
not! But today putting a price tag on
freedom is a ploy being used as a basis for removing individual freedom. My
County Supervisor once accused me of complaining about issues but never
offering other options. So I am
offering other options for you to consider rather than taking away my freedom. (1.) How about passing legislation that
lets us shop across state lines for health insurance like we can for car
insurance? It has been shown that that
alone would lower insurance premiums.
(2.) You could enforce anti-discrimination laws and make it illegal to
base premium rates on where someone lives.
(3.) You could reduce medical law suits by requiring the loser to pay;
therefore, you wouldn’t sue unless you were sure you could win and deserved
to win. (4.) Congress has regulated
the air waves and restricted their use by alcohol and tobacco companies how
about including medical procedures, pharmaceuticals, hospitals, Doctors,
Dentists, Lawyers and those who drive up costs by brainwashing people into
thinking they need a certain drug or medical procedure or hospital or Doctors
visit? Cut the health industry’s
advertising cost to zero and everyone’s cost would go down. So
there are four other options that I know would lower healthcare costs but
will we ever see these changes, never, because this issue is not about health
care costs, it’s about controlling people’s lives and many of us are aware of
that fact. So,
if you want to know why folks are angry, it’s because we folks believe in the
Constitution and it appears our Government does not. In
your letter you made the following argument for HR 3200 saying it offered: Real choice in a health
insurance marketplace where consumers can compare different plans, including
a public plan option, while still retaining the freedom to keep their current doctor, hospital
and plan if they
choose; Here it is as written from HR 3200 page 16 regarding
choice: 1 SEC.
102. PROTECTING THE CHOICE TO KEEP CURRENT 2 COVERAGE. 3 (a)
GRANDFATHERED HEALTH INSURANCE Cov- 4 ERAGE DEFINED.—Subject to the succeeding- provisions
of 5 this
section, for purposes of establishing acceptable cov- 6 erage
under this division, the
term "grandfathered health 7 insurance coverage" means
individual health insurance 8 coverage
that is offered and in force and effect before the 9 first
day of Yl if the
following conditions are met: 10 (1)
LIMITATION ON NEW ENROLLMENT.— 11 (A)
IN GENERAL.—- Except as provided in 12 this
paragraph, the individual health insurance 13 issuer
offering such coverage does not enroll 14 any
individual in such coverage if the first ef- 15 fective
date of coverage is on or after the first 16 day
of Yl. 17 (B)
DEPENDENT COVERAGE PER- 18 MITTED.—Subparagraph
(A) shall not affect 19 the subsequent enrollment of a
dependent of an 20 individual who is covered as of such
first day. 2! (2) LIMITATION ON CHANGES IN TERMS OR 22 CONDITIONS.—Subject
to paragraph (3) and except 23 as required by law, the issuer does not change any 24 of its terms or conditions, including benefits
and So
HR 3200 sounds to me like we can choose to keep our existing insurance until
the issuer makes a change in terms or conditions and everyone who pays for
their insurance knows they change the policy every year. I
think you should pass legislation that makes it a felony criminal charge for
the Legislature or the President to lie to the American Public. © Bill Wink.com

Agenda 21 is not the “Bill of Rights”.
It is not “The Declaration of Independence”. And it is not the “U.S. Constitution”. It has never been decided on by the
American people that “Agenda 21” should be our new bible. Our guiding light into the 21st
century. It is being pushed on us by a
bunch of self righteous elitist like Nancy Pelosi. It empowers those who agree and
indoctrinates those who do not, and you are going to think you are having a
bad dream when it comes into your home. |
